150 g / kg iron as a vegetable proteinate.

Directions

BIOPLEX™ IRON contains 150 g / kg of iron for use in manufacturing livestock rations where the inclusion of iron as an organic chelate is desirable. The precise dietary requirement will be dependent on the composition of the feed and the particular animal species involved. To ensure optimum animal performance BEC recommends that a professional animal nutritionist is consulted when formulating animal rations.

Critical component of oxygen transport system (in haemoglobin and myoglobin), also involved in body enzyme systems.
